Andrew Cochran and Darrin Greene have been best friends since high school. They grew up playing video games and sports together as well as spending summers outside. Both ventured off to college and graduate school in far away lands and eventually ended up back in Vermont. Their love of games never went away even though they grew up and became adults. They started playing Magic The Gathering (Andrew for 15 years and Darrin for three) and both have been involved in various D&D campaigns (as players and DMs) over the past six years. There was one problem though, most of these games required long travel to big cities to play and buy new materials. Darrin and Andrew have always had a desire to give the communities they love a place close to home.

They have dreamed about opening a game store. Many factors lined up at once and they had the opportunity to make that dream a reality. Thus, The Game Haven was born.

We are extremely excited to present The Game Haven to you all and hope that it can be a place where people can get the things they need for their gaming hobbies and have a space to engage with other people and play the games they love.

Bring your Magic decks or D&D characters, open some packs of Magic or Pokémon, stock up on paints or grow your Warhammer army, join one of our events, or play one of our board games. Whatever gaming hobby you enjoy we hope to provide what you need and the space to play it with others who share your passions.
